About a deck of cards

I have a doubt. For improve the memorization of a deck of cards is better to try to recall it (after memorization) without review (in which eventually I can look again the cards I can't remember because I forgot the images) or is normal to review the cards before stopping the timer?

For speed, no review. If you find that too difficult, just memorize more slowly, in more rich detail, and then get faster and faster. If you are a complete beginner, try reviewing every ~5 loci or so, and then reduce the amount of reviews until you get to none.

At the moment I memorize a deck of cards in under 4 minute including the review with the method PAO. But I'll try to go more slow without review? What method do you use and what is your time average Bateman?
